On September 11, the Hennepin-University Partnership co-hosted the Integrating Data as an Approach to Overcome Syndemics Event, alongside Hennepin County, Hennepin Healthcare, and the UMN School of Public Health. Over 35 Hennepin County staff, Hennepin Healthcare team members, and University of Minnesota faculty gathered to discuss the future of public health data infrastructure.
This event marked the first step towards Hennepin County creating an integrated data strategy that draws together health and human services data to better define public health challenges and provide actionable direction to reduce disparate health outcomes for county residents.
