Join the Hennepin-University Partnership for the first HUP Webinar of 2023! Yingling Fan, PhD, will present on the role of transportation in urban environments. This research is at the center of the film, “Community Power Minnesota: Transportation and Happiness” and Fan hopes it will serve as the groundwork in placing human emotion at the center of transportation planning, leading to safer, healthier, and more accessible transportation and infrastructure design.

Yingling Fan

 

Yingling Fan is Professor of Urban and Regional Planning at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota. Her research examines human emotions in everyday urban environments. She strives to identify urban infrastructure solutions that can foster shared happiness in the city.
