The Hennepin-University Partnership aims to highlight the impactful projects that students from UMN take on in collaboration with Hennepin County.
Join this webinar to hear from graduate student teams on their projects which include:
- Evaluating whether current urban tree canopy expansion programs are accessible and beneficial to communities with low canopy coverage in Hennepin County. And whether programs are making an impact on Hennepin County's high priority areas identified in the Hennepin Climate Action Plan.
- Exploring implementation of a proposed Guaranteed Basic Income program in Hennepin County which could maximize benefits for low income households and promote economic mobility
- Analyzing the outcomes and impacts of the 2020 election on future voting trends. And improving election-related decision making, planning, and processes that currently exist in Hennepin County elections.
This webinar will also dedicate time to explaining the process for Hennepin County projects to partner with UMN students.
